        A Non-Profit Organization

Welcome is a new organization where the main objective is you. We are happy you are here. We are happy to see you.

There is a silent killer among us, in our schools, stalking the youth and young adults abroad. It is silent because we don't talk about it. It is not cancer or obesity. It is suicide, and as many as five children and young adults attempt it every day.
It's time we raise awareness no one wants to talk about it, and the end result is death.

Fact: Depression is to suicide as obesity is to diabetes, and it is killing our children. At the very least we can start talking about it.

Fact: Department of Education directs teachers and staff not to engage with students about suicide wanting to avoid a copy-cat syndrome. Yet, a side effect of not talking about suicide is that teachers do not know how to recognize warning signs. Recent studies have shown last year alone that 85 per cent of teachers could not identify a suicidal student.

Fact: Bullying is typically defined as the ongoing physical or emotional victimization of a person by another person or group of people. Cyberbullying is an emerging problem in which people use new communication technologies, such as social media and texting, to harass and cause emotional harm to their victims.

Fact: Teenage mortality is an important public health issue because the majority of deaths among teenagers are caused by external causes of injury such as accidents, homicide, and suicide. These causes of death are, by definition, preventable.
